About Us

Here at Germania Verein, our goal is to maintain German culture, customs, language, and music. We want to keep the German culture alive for everyone who enjoys, and has interest in, German culture and community. Our club is a sociable place for friends, fun, and Gemütlichkeit! Whether you are native German, of German heritage, or just love all things German, we have activities and events for everyone.

We offer a variety of activities for many different interests and host many different events throughout the year. We are always accepting new members. Keep reading to learn more!

Current Activities

  • Board Meetings via Zoom/in person
  • Membership Meetings in person
  • Stammtisch via Zoom
  • The Choir practices on Tuesday’s at 7:30 PM at the Germania Halle
  • Monthly Kaffeeklatsch on the 2nd Saturday of the month

  • If you are interested in Skat: The group meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month at the same time and dates as the Kaffeeklatsch

Choir

The Choir has started rehearsals! We welcome new singers. We sing classical, folk songs, and modern songs. Some German would be useful. We are not a professional choir, so no requirement to join. Having fun singing together is the key! Email Ursula or leave a voice or text message at 408.471.6813 and we will contact you.
