The Historical Society of Germania grew out of an informal project team to create a book about German Heritage in Silicon Valley. For nearly a year the team managed the effort to prepare a manuscript of historical notes by Maria Brand to publish and market “Germania San Jose – The Early German Heritage of Silicon Valley” as an attractive book.

Published in 2019, the book is available for purchase on Amazon or you can contact the board of the Germania Verein for a copy.

April Halberstadt and Maria Brand celebrated the publication of Maria Brand’s book “Germania San Jose – The Early German Heritage of Silicon Valley” at the Annual Membership Meeting on December 6, 2019. They edited the manuscript with the support of several Germania members, and published and marketed the book in 2019.
